William (Val) Korennoy began his musical studies at the age of 7 at a specialized music school in Odessa, Ukraine. In 1983 he graduated from the Odessa State Conservatory, and then played for several years with the Odessa Opera Theater and Philharmonic. While studying in conservatory he was a participant of the national cellist competition. In the early 1990’s Mr. Korennoy immigrated to the United States and became a citizen. He graduated from Bryant University with a double major in accounting and accounting information systems and became a Certified Public Accountant. He currently works for Bank of America. He also performs as a solo cello player and a member of NABSC orchestra.
