Meghan O'Connor is a 2002 graduate of Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY, where she received a BA degree with honors in music and mathematics. She was a recipient of the Filene Music Scholarship as well as the Senior Music Award. Currently, she is a private violin instructor and freelances throughout Southern New England. She has performed with the Eastern Connecticut Symphony, Rhode Island Pops, Chorus of Westerly, RI Civic Chorale and the Rhode Island College Symphony Orchestra. Meghan is a member of the Plymouth Philharmonic Orchestra, Musica Dolce, and is concert master of the Newport County Community Orchestra at Salve Regina University, where she is an adjunct faculty member. Meghan performed in several Newport Music Festival concerts during the 2010, 2011 and 2013 seasons.
