Catherine Reilly holds a B.M. in Violin Performance from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, where she studied with Elizabeth Chang. She pursued further studies in chamber music the Green Mountain Chamber Music Festival in Burlington Vermont, the Silk Road Ensemble’s Global Musician Workshop in Greencastle Indiana, and the Brancaleoni International Music Festival in Piobbico Italy. She is a Suzuki violin teacher, having received her training from Allen Lieb of the School for Strings in New York City. Catherine returned to Rhode Island in 2019 and began teaching private violin lessons and assisting with strings classes at the Meadowbrook Waldorf School. Today she leads the the music program at Meadowbrook, teaching strings, recorder ensemble, and chorus.
