Meghan O’Connor began studying the violin at the age of six. A 2002 graduate of Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY, Meghan received a BA degree with honors in music and mathematics. She has been a member of    Musica Dolce since the fall of 2003, performing in numerous chamber music concerts,  serving as principle second violinist in the chamber orchestra.  This fall she was a member of the Musica Dolce Music in the Schools string quartet, performing for hundreds of elementary school children on Aquidneck Island and South County. Meghan teaches violin and free lances throughout Southern New England. She has performed with the Eastern Connecticut Symphony, the Rhode Island Pops, is a member of the Plymouth Philharmonic Orchestra, and concert master of the Newport County Community Orchestra. In the apring and summer she manages the Box Office for the Newport Music Festival.
